T. Whitmire for "The Presence of the Past: Epitaphs in Greenville Co., South Carolina" Information also from "Descendants of John Watson I 1752 - 1823" Cemetery visited by Jane Watson Chandler in 2003 John Watson II designated in his will a half acre of land for this cemetery. From Hwy. 123 heading into Easley turn left at the redlight onto S. Fishtrap Rd. (between a Citgo and a sign for Crosswell First Baptist Church), S. Fishtrap Rd. turns into Old Easley Bridge Rd., cross the Saluda River, on your right will be Holmesview Center, then Western Carolina Sewer Authority, Georges Creek Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant, the cemetery is on their property up on the hill in the woods. There is a old dirt road leading up to the cemetery from Old Easley Bridge Rd., right below the plant, in front of a white house.
