CEMETERY LOCATION:

Locate intersection of Highway & Shady Grove Rd in Pickens.
Drive (SW) on Highway 183.
In 3.7 miles stop at SR S39-33 (Concord Church Rd).
Cemetery is in the woods on the left.
Across the street from the S39-33 intersection.

CHURCH/CEMETERY HISTORY:
------------------------

Begun as a Camp Ground, Bolding Book says 1819. Already in use 1844 when 
Benjamin Hagood deeded 10 acres to the Methodist Episcopal Church for a 
Campground. The church possibly organized in 1890's, short lived, only about two 
graves remain, a few were removed elsewhere. The building was eventually sold to 
Stanley Morgan, torn down, removed and rebuilt as a dwelling.
